Type of Employment: Full Time 30+ hrs or Part-Time, minimum 15 hours (one weekend day mandatory)

Compensation: Annual income of $98,000 to $130,000

Position Overview:
Registered Massage Therapists are esteemed members of the team at Hammam Spa. A successful RMT is able to offer exceptional services while providing extraordinary client care. A full range of services is required to be provided by the right candidate including; Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sport, Aromatherapy, and Prenatal massage treatments. A successful RMT must be able to build rapport with their clients, develop treatment plans, encourage repeat visits and build a loyal client base.

Duties and Responsibilities:
· Abides by the Hammam Spa Policies and Procedures Guide
· Provides safe, effective, relaxing services using advanced massage techniques, and readily adapts to client feedback.
· Ability to provide 30, 45, 60 and 90-minute treatments
· Review the client's Health History prior to services adapting for any contraindications
· Complete post-treatment client notes
· Provides exceptional customer service
· Provides competent home care recommendations to clients
· Maintains cleanliness of treatment rooms and common-use areas of the spa
· Ensures the proper, safe use of spa equipment
· Responsible for fostering a healthy attitude and working relationships with all coworkers and members of the management
· Other tasks as assigned

Requirements:
· Fluency in English
. In good standing with all Insurance providers
· Exceptional client care skills
· Dependable work ethic
· Courteous and professional demeanour
· Ability to stand for extended periods of time
· Must be well groomed, and comply with the spa’s dress-code policy
· Availability to work evening/weekend shifts

Education and Experience:
· Completion of Massage Therapy School
· Registration with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario in good standing
· Minimum 2 years in a professional Registered Massage Therapist Role
· Previous spa or hospitality experience as an asset
